UK Organizer Terms
In short
- You — the UK organizer — are the ticket seller and Merchant of Record.
- Buyers pay your connected Stripe merchant account in GBP. You have access to the full Stripe Dashboard. Stripe fees and a fixed £1 LetsPlayAGig application fee for each ticket are deducted from your proceeds.
- You are responsible for the event, UK tax and consumer duties, receipts, refunds and disputes. LetsPlayAGig supplies the ticketing software.
- Cancelling an event queues full buyer refunds and refunds the related application fee. You must keep enough money in Stripe to complete them.
1. Parties and scope
These business terms are between Localize.pl Agenor Hofmann-Delbor, ul. Włościańska 57/13, 70-021 Szczecin, Polish tax ID 9551885714 (the “Operator”), which operates LetsPlayAGig.com, and the band, artist or event organizer accepting them (the “Organizer”). They apply only to events expressly enabled for the limited UK Stripe Connect pilot. The general Service Terms also apply.
By accepting, the Organizer confirms that it is established or lawfully trading in the United Kingdom, is authorised to sell the tickets, and has authority to bind the legal seller disclosed in the panel and to Stripe.
2. Seller and payment model
The Organizer is the sole seller and Merchant of Record for every pilot ticket. The ticket contract is between the Organizer and the buyer. The Operator does not organize the event, resell the ticket or receive the ticket price as seller.
Payments are created as direct charges on the Organizer's connected Stripe merchant account. The Organizer has access to the full Stripe Dashboard. The Organizer's legal identity is disclosed at checkout and stored with each order. Stripe controls verification, processing availability, payout timing and its own fees. Stripe collects its processing fees from the Organizer and, rather than the Operator, is responsible for negative-balance losses under the connected account configuration. The Organizer must keep its Stripe information accurate and its charges and payouts capabilities enabled.
3. Application fee
The Operator charges the Organizer a fixed application fee of £1 for each ticket in a successful order. For example, an order containing two tickets carries a £2 application fee. Stripe transfers that fee from the connected account to the Operator. It is consideration for the ticketing software and is not an additional charge to the buyer.
Stripe processing fees are separate and are borne by the Organizer. The Organizer remains responsible for accounting for the full ticket price, the Operator's B2B service fee, any reverse-charge treatment, and all UK tax reporting. The Operator may provide a separate invoice or fee statement; Stripe's balance report does not replace either party's statutory records.
4. Organizer obligations
- publish complete and accurate event, price, capacity and contact details;
- honour valid tickets and provide the advertised event;
- provide buyers with all legally required pre-contract information, receipts or tax documents and a working support contact;
- comply with UK consumer, event, tax, privacy, accessibility and marketing law;
- respond promptly to cancellations, complaints, refunds, disputes and Stripe information requests; and
- protect entry-scanner links and use buyer data only for the ticket contract.
5. Refunds, cancellations and disputes
Event cancellation in the panel is irreversible for that event record. It closes sales, invalidates tickets and queues idempotent full refunds through the Organizer's Stripe account. The Operator instructs Stripe to refund the application fee together with the direct charge. The Organizer must maintain enough balance and remains responsible under its agreement with Stripe for pending refunds, chargebacks and dispute fees. Stripe, not the Operator, administers collection of any negative balance and bears the configured loss responsibility if that balance cannot be recovered.
The Organizer owns and answers ticket-contract complaints and Stripe disputes. The Operator may provide order and technical evidence, suspend new sales or require remediation where buyer funds or the Service are at risk.
6. Records, data and availability
The Operator records orders, consent, tickets, payment status, application fees, refunds and disputes to run and secure the Service. The Organizer is an independent controller for buyer data used to perform the ticket contract; details are in the Privacy Policy.
Stripe or the Operator may restrict or stop the pilot. New sales can be disabled immediately for failed verification, negative balances, legal risk, security incidents or material breach. Existing orders, refunds, disputes and legally required records survive suspension or account deletion.
7. Liability and law
Each party is responsible for its own obligations. The Organizer indemnifies the Operator against third-party claims caused by the event, the Organizer's ticket contract, inaccurate seller information, tax non-compliance or breach of these terms, except to the extent caused by the Operator. Nothing excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Polish law governs the Operator–Organizer agreement and Polish courts have jurisdiction, without displacing mandatory rules that apply to the Organizer's UK ticket contracts. Contact: info@koncertuj.com.
